Who:
My name is Ashley Preston and I am a Graphic Designer with a Bachelor's degree from Huntington University.
What:
Aspiring to be a professional graphic designer and currently looking for an internship, this site is to showcase my work to others.
Where:
Born and raised in Northeast Indiana, I live and work in Fort Wayne, IN.
Why Art:
I like to create art that connects with the viewer andto express my ideas and interests. Designing a character, or bringing to life a person's ideas, is really fulfilling.
When Art:
I started drawing in high school and in college, I was able to create art in several different mediums and learned a lot about graphic design.
Favorite Medium:
My favorite traditional medium to work with is charcoal, and my favorite digital medium to use is Photoshop/Illustrator brushes.
Styles That Inspire:
I really enjoy Impressionist painters like Van Gogh, for the use of multiple colors in one brushstroke and using no black paint.
Hobbies:
I like to listen to a capella, classic rock, and bands like Panic! at the Disco.
I love to read fiction and murder mystery novels.
